Ana Davis, Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
Ana Davis is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in both education and clinical practice. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M International University and began her career as a teacher with Laredo ISD. Inspired to further support children’s communication needs, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas A&M University–Kingsville.
Since moving to San Antonio in 2012, Ana has worked in a variety of clinical settings; however, the majority of her career has been dedicated to serving students in school-based programs. With her unique experience as both an educator and speech-language pathologist, Ana brings a comprehensive understanding of children’s learning and communication development.

AshLee Madison, School Psychologist
AshLee is a School Psychology who graduated from Trinity University in 2015. She completed her internship with a rural co-op in West Texas, serving multiple school districts across four counties. Her career includes experience in both rural and urban settings, including working in districts such as NEISD and SAISD. She also has specialized expertise in supporting homeschool and private school families. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and children and caring for her two dogs, one cat, and five chickens.

Chrislyn Sparkman, School Psychologist
Chrislyn Sparkman holds a Master of Arts degree in School Psychology from Trinity University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Angelo State University. Born and raised in Texas, Chrislyn has called San Antonio home for more than three years. In her leisure time, she finds balance through activities like golfing, discovering new places, enjoying tranquil beach settings, or reading mystery books with her beloved cat.

Karina Carrizales, School Psychologist
Karina is a School Psychologist who graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2023. She is passionate about supports students from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of learning needs. Karina is dedicated to fostering positive, collaborative relationships with educators and families to help every student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In her free time, Karina enjoys working out and spending time with her two cats.

Tom Salas, Special Education Teacher
Tom is a Special Education Teacher with 10 years of experience, helping students with different needs succeed. Tom is certified in Special Education, Physical Education, and as a Generalist EC-6 teacher, and has worked in individualized instruction, behavior management, and collaborative teaching. Tom also taught general education math, bringing a wide range of skills to the classroom. His focus is on creating a supportive space where students can grow, learn, and feel confident.

Megan Salas, CEO and School Psychologist
Megan Salas brings over a decade of experience in school psychology and a steadfast commitment to supporting students with special needs. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and her master’s in School Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) in 2013.
As CEO of BASE, Megan leads with a focus on bridging academic systems and meaningful outcomes for students with disabilities. Her work emphasizes collaboration, inclusion, and empowering schools and families to create lasting educational success.
She resides in San Antonio, Texas with her husband, a special education teacher pursuing certification as an educational diagnostician, their three children, and their dog, Potato.
